Creative Cloud Login Reset · macOS
Fix Creative Cloud login loops, OOBE errors, and broken Adobe licensing on your Mac.
If Adobe Creative Cloud gets stuck on the spinning loading circle, refuses to sign in, shows “Trial expired” even with a valid subscription, or fails with OOBE or licensing errors, it’s caused by corrupted Adobe identity, licensing, or CCX files. This reset tool safely removes broken login and licensing data so you can sign in normally again.

What Creative Cloud Login Reset fixes
- Endless loading wheel on Creative Cloud sign-in
- OOBE errors when starting Creative Cloud Desktop
- “Trial expired” despite active subscription
- Broken Adobe licensing files preventing app activation
- Corrupted CCX and AGS processes that stop login
This reset removes identity, OOBE, CCX, and licensing data so Adobe can rebuild them cleanly.
Why Creative Cloud login breaks on macOS
Adobe stores login state and licensing across multiple folders, daemons, and background services. When any part corrupts — especially OOBE, LocalStorage, licensing tokens, or CCX/AGS helpers — Creative Cloud can no longer authenticate.
Stuck sign-in or loading screen
Broken OOBE and LocalStorage folders cause Creative Cloud to freeze before the login window appears.
Expired or missing license tokens
Adobe’s licensing cache often corrupts after a failed update or version mismatch, resulting in “Trial expired” or apps stuck in offline mode.
Creative Cloud Desktop not opening
CCXProcess, AGSService, or AdobeGCClient can get stuck in a bad state, preventing Creative Cloud Desktop from launching properly.
Authentication loops
When identity files don’t match Adobe’s backend anymore, Creative Cloud loops back to login regardless of credentials.
Failed app activation
Even if Creative Cloud opens, apps won’t activate without healthy licensing and profile data.
How Creative Cloud Login Reset works
The tool is a sealed, signed macOS package. It runs a single transparent shell script, removing only Adobe’s login, identity, OOBE, CCX, and licensing files.
Stop Creative Cloud and background daemons
Quits Creative Cloud Desktop and unloads services like AdobeIPCBroker, CCXProcess, AdobeGCClient, AGSService, and CoreSync.
Reset identity, OOBE, and login caches
Removes corrupted Adobe folders from ~/Library/Application Support and ~/Library/Caches including OOBE, LocalStorage, and identity-related data.
Clear Adobe licensing and activation tokens
Deletes local licensing files used by Creative Cloud to activate apps, solving “Trial expired” and activation loops.
Final cleanup and relaunch
Removes log files and leftover temp folders, then restarts Finder for a clean Creative Cloud relaunch.
Did this fix your Adobe login?
If resetting Creative Cloud saved you from reinstalling everything, consider supporting future macreset tools — Lightroom, Media Encoder, and more are on the way.
