FAQ

Does this really delete Outlook / Adobe data?

Yes. We don't rename or archive by default. If you tick it, it's gone - permanently. That's to avoid hidden 200GB+ libraries in ~/Library/.

Will Outlook re-download email?

Only if you choose the “settings + email data” option. The normal “settings only” reset keeps local mail.

Does it work on Apple Silicon?

Yep. It just clears user Library folders. Works fine on Intel, and on every Apple Silicon Mac from M1 through to the latest M series.

Can I deploy with Jamf / Intune?

Yes. They're standard .pkg installers. Push straight to devices or send users here.

Will it be signed / notarised?

Yes. All MacReset tools are Apple-signed, notarised, and Gatekeeper-clean.
